The biggest breakthrough

The biggest breakthrough is yet to come!

The Ukrainian counteroffensive has been underway since the summer — Western countries have repeatedly complained that progress is too slow. In recent weeks, however, Ukraine has stepped up the pace!

Recently, fierce attacks on the Russian Black Sea Fleet and also the crossing of the defense lines of the Russians on the southern front showed: The Ukrainian counteroffensive is making progress.

General Oleksander Tarnavsky is leading the fighting on the southern front. In a CNN interview, he now announces: Ukraine’s big breakthrough — the biggest of this counteroffensive — is still to come, he said.

“I think it will be after Tokmak,” Tarnavski told U.S. TV of the breakthrough. “Right now, they (the Russians, ed.) are relying on the depth of their defensive line there.”

It is not the “Surovikin Line,” a defensive line built on the orders of former “General Armageddon” Sergei Surovikin, but the “crossings, tree lines, and minefields between tree lines” that are the bigger problems, according to Tarnawski.
