Ukraine destroys whole Russian brigade
The next stage victory for Ukraine in the east of the country.
Ukrainian troops destroyed a complete Russian brigade of several thousand soldiers in the Donetsk region south of Bachmut, establishing a bridgehead east of a critical railroad line, can report two more villages as completely liberated.
The first victory — the capture of Klishchiivka — had come after two months of attritional fighting in the heavily contested area. There, the Russians were already cut off from supplies, but the Russians kept launching new counterattacks with their most advanced tanks, the T-90s.
