Change These 10 Settings

Change These 10 Settings Right Now to Utilize macOS Sonoma Completely

I will admit that my initial impressions of macOS Sonoma were not great; I wrote an entire blog post about how I only cared about a handful of the hundreds of new features it came with.

However, upon spending more time with it and digging through the settings menu, I have identified a few hidden and not-so-hidden settings that will make your Mac experience better and make macOS Sonoma much more helpful than before.

I know you are excited to know what they are so you can also have a better Mac experience.

So, let’s get started!

Turn off show items on the Desktop

macOS Sonoma brings hundreds of gorgeous new wallpapers and screensavers, and they add a touch of uniqueness to your Mac and make it exciting to see those cool new animations when you unlock your Mac.

However, you might not be able to enjoy these new wallpapers in their full glory if your desktop is filled with a bunch of folders and files, especially if you are also adding widgets to your desktop.

Thankfully, there is a quick fix to this, and it lets you hide all the folders and files on your desktop, allowing you to bask in the glory of the stunning new wallpapers.
