“I a 48-year-old female had an intense affair with a friend. I ended it and he’s been completely cut off and blocked everywhere for the last four months.
This affair saw me doing things I had never done with my husband. Overall being a lot more sexually open.
I ended it when I felt a sudden burst of guilt.
My goal was to take it to the grave and be the best wife ever but my partner was vengeful and found my husband’s email and somehow sent him screenshots and gritty details of the affair.
This was five months ago.I came clean immediately after being confronted and answered any questions no matter how gritty they were.
We cried heavily that night and I apologize more times and cried more tears at night than I probably have my entire life.
We’ve been trying to reconcile our marriage through counseling
