I started five businesses this week

The truth is, we rarely give ourselves the freedom in life to exercise the full extent of our creativity and allow the time and resources required to turn ideas into action with glorious abandon. I am unsure why the stars aligned for me this week, but I felt I was in a place where I had nothing to lose.

I work a 9–5 which is all too often an 8–8 or even longer. Sometimes it is fulfilling and rewarding work, but many times I do what I am told and there is little room for innovation. I sneak in bits of ingenuity where I can to make it more fun, efficient, and productive, but many days I am tired and discouraged.

This week was no different in that regard, but somehow I decided now is the time to put some of those creative entrepreneurial ideas that are always percolating in my brain into action. Normally whenever I have an idea, I write it in a notes list on my phone. When I decide to scope it out a little further, I move over to Notion and use one of my templates that capture the purpose, target audience, features, software needs, resource requirements, and development workflow.
