Reconnecting and Reflecting: The Impactful People and Projects in My Life Currently

This week, I reached back out to many of the people that I have connections with this is in both the professional and personal sense. This is something that I felt the urge to do in the recent times as I had the realization that there are many people that I have interacted with which have left a very important impact on my life that I do not think that I could not go without mentioning. Each of these people are impactful in my life and each come with interesting perspectives and opinions. Regardless of these, we still gathered under the one main thing that brought these people and I together. the internet. To give you a perspective, I have a small list of people that I have been able to reach out to once again this week to check in with them and show that I was thinking of them. Here is a small assortment of the people that I had reached out to and how their impact has been important to me:
One group of people that I was able to reach out to was my old gaming buddies. People that have friends from games know but it is rather a niche experience if you are not familiar. They are people that I have met online and are people that I feel like I am able to be my authentic self and have the ability to vent to them as they are have no real understanding of my circumstances, besides what I have explained. On top of that, I have been able to draw a ton of inspiration from them. One of the main points of inspiration was from my good friend from Germany. He is super kind but also at the same time very good at Rocket League. This person not only gives me many good ideas to build applications if I am stumped but he also has a great mantra when he plays the game that I have been able to carry over in life. In the time that we play, sometimes we may be on a losing streak and without skipping a beat, this guy is somehow keeping us playing the game even though we are upset keep us in with his bubbly positive personality that makes you want to continue to play with him until the end of time. With my Rocket League addiction, my second man is also a very pivotal person in my life. Even though he is “across the pond“, whenever we play, I feel like he is next door. He is similar to my friend from Germany as he is insanely talented on the Futball pitch (Soccer field). He is the reason why I am able to believe that good people do not change and if they change it is only for the better. He is by far one of the funniest people that I know. These are two people that I have been able to vent to over the past couple of years and have been friends with me during the good, bad, and the ugly as I will be for them. There are many more people I will be reaching out to in this group and I will do my best to continue to communicate with them without to continue to build and maintain these special relationships.
