Use “Sloth” Words in Your Titles for 57% Higher CTR
I’m not joking when I say that “sloth” words in your titles can boost your click-through rates (CTR) by up to 57% or higher.
When I use these simple sloth words, the articles on my websites get a crazy number of clicks on Google. Just by adding one of these words to my blog post titles, I can even “steal” search volume from articles ranked higher than me in the search results.
Here are three of the best sloth words I know and how to use them.
What Are Sloth Words?
Sloth words are words or short phrases that create a psychological state of desire in the reader. They do this by appealing to the values and interests associated with slothfulness.
Sloth words tap into our natural temptation to take the path of least resistance.
By using these words, we can create content that is more likely to be read and even shared by those who value ease and convenience. However, it’s important to use sloth words sparingly.
If overused, they can make your content seem insincere or manipulative.
When used effectively, however, sloth words can be a powerful tool for increasing engagement and reach.
